Sometimes, I find the moving gestures on a canvas articulate better than words. At times when words do not suffice, I paint to express and attempt to grasp the meaning.

"Nine Moons, Raining Petals” was created in a diptych. The diptych is a self-talk through painting, which sometimes could be complementary or opposite to each other. The distant, disciplinary, recurrent, imaginative and consistent qualities of ‘Nine Moons’ form a dialectical contrast with the proximate, natural, instantaneous, observative and ever-changing qualities of ‘Raining Petals.’ Such co-existence of the dualities resonates with the paradoxical and hybrid nature of our contemporary life.
